Mini Rave!

Every couple days I'll be doing a "mini rave". This will be a short paragraph and picture of an artist that I think is worth the time to go check out. This week we have Chantilly Lace Designs from Artfire.com.

The beautiful creations at Chantilly Lace are just breath-taking! They exude elegance and yet at the same time give of an girlish air. I would love to own every piece in her store.

New Line of ASL Paintings

If you've taken a look at our Etsy shop recently, you will have seen the first in a series of paintings that I have started. The title of this painting is "Raining".

This series of paintings will all be based around a sign in ASL (American Sign Language). The whole project is inspired by my partners love for the language and the deaf community. She is not actually deaf herself but her passion for the language is remarkable. 

The darker muted colors in the background represent the vibrations of rain and how those vibrations might be to a deaf person 'pitter-patter' is to the hearing. It's my interpretation of the meaning of the word "raining" as a sign.

Fan Review: Authentic Robot Hearts

This is a fan review for an item in CatalinaCalderon's shop on etsy.com. One of her newest items are her Authentic Robot Hearts. 

These darling little tokens are 5 in. by 3in. and made from an assortment of "upholstery grade fabric". The are wrapped in wire and have a circuit board attached to the front (see picture). They come in three colors and have the option of adding a pin to the back so that they can attach to a purse, pillow, shirt or whatnot.

Each piece takes her about 3 hours of loving labor so they are a STEAL at $12 each.

I don't know exactly how I stumbled upon these cute little "gems" but they truly are unique and heart warming (if you'll excuse the pun). They brought a giant smile to my face when I first found them and I know they will bring one to yours as well. Stop in her shop (link above) and check them out for yourself!

New Youtube Video: CLAYMATION

A couple of days ago we did a youtube video on our youtube channel. It's a claymation video about two cute little monsters.

I don't want to ruin anything as it's only 45 seconds long but it's totally worth going to see. It was fun to make and only took about 2.5 hours to shoot. Well hop on over and check it out!

They are hand made by our two leading designers in several different styles in every size. We offer plugs, tapers, whirly-gigs and many more. We also take orders for custom designs*.

Our Beads

Artgasm Design also creates one of a kind beads. The beads are made of the same polymer clay and handmade. You can order our beads in a couple different ways. We offer the beads piecemeal, set in a handmade hemp necklace or you can make a custom order*.
